FAQs

Your Questions, Answered.

How fast does the RIB go?

The RIB typically operates at a cruising speed of 26-28 knots. This is dependent on the conditions on the day. Your comfort and safety are our priority. The RIB can travel up to 45 knots which is powered by a 250HP engine!

Is the charter weather dependant?

The charter can be cancelled if there is a severe weather forecast, or if conditions deteriorate during the charter unexpectedly. Weather forecasts are checked regularly prior to the charter. The decision will be made by the skipper and we will try to give you as much notice as possible. Your safety is paramount to us.

Will I get wet?

We do our best to keep our guests dry, our rib is designed for as dry a ride as possible. However there is a chance of getting wet depending on the weather conditions on the day. Don't worry as we provide customers with waterproof jackets and trousers - you are welcome to bring your own waterproofs.

Are there any restrictions on board the RIB?

Your safety is our highest priority and so:
Life Jackets must be worn at all times.
You must remain seated at all times whilst we are under way.
There is no smoking allowed on board or on any of the pontoons.
No alcohol is allowed to be consumed on board - drinking and rough seas do not mix.

How long are the charters?

We offer half and full day charters.
Our half day is 4hrs and full day is 8hrs.
Any additional hour is charged at £100/hr
